Reinforced Backed Urethane Liner

Reinforced Backed Urethane Liners

Reinforced backed urethane was developed in response to a need for longer-wearing, more resistant urethane liners in several bulk handling industries.
Characteristics
  • Superior cut and abrasion resistance
  • Excellent resistance to ozone and aging
  • Resistant to many oils and solvents
  • Outstanding low temperature properties

Specifications
  • Hardness: from 65A to 92A durometer
  • Colors: red, black, blue, natural
  • Polymer: MDI, polyester approved for dry food handling
  • Backings:
       1. Non reinforced - no backing, lightweight and flexible
       2. Cotton fabric - lightweight and flexible, can be glued to metal and other materials with commercial adhesive
       3. Expanded metal - Flattened expanded steel, typically 16 gauge, more rigid than non-reinforced and cotton fabric. Metal acts as "stopping point" for bolt heads
       4. Custom - specialty fabrics and solid steels
  • Stock sizes: from 1/8" to 1/2", 4' x 10' sheets
  • Custom sizes: from 4" thick x 10' wide x 250' long
